The epitome of "downsizing," this Regency villa home was purchased by our client in its original 1970's condition. This home was redesigned and remodeled by McNeil Company to reflect the owner's desire to entertain guests, have spaces to share memories with grandchildren, and a comfortable place to relax and recharge. Kris Patton from Interiors Joan and Associates provided interior design services and was able to capture the design intent of the homeowner. A private courtyard with interior landscaping was constructed in the rear to provide a space for grilling, outdoor dining or just sharing a glass of wine with friends. A portion of the roof was elevated to allow more natural light to fill the kitchen and Family Room. The dark wooden beams on the ceiling compliment 3 small windows at the dormer to draw your eyes up and provide an airy comfort.
